1、 Overview
DRD high-frequency radar level measuring instrument, capable of measuring distances up to 80 meters. The antenna has been further optimized and processed, and the new fast microprocessor can perform higher speed signal analysis and processing, making the instrument suitable for very complex measurement conditions such as reaction vessels or solid material silos.
2、 Principle
The radar level antenna emits narrow microwave pulses, which are transmitted downwards through the antenna. After the microwave contacts the surface of the measured medium, it is reflected back and received by the antenna system again. It is then transmitted to the electronic circuit section and automatically converted into a level signal. (Due to the extremely fast propagation speed of microwaves, the time it takes for electromagnetic waves to reach the target and reflect back to the receiver is almost instantaneous.)
Note: When using radar level timing, it is necessary to ensure that the high level cannot enter the measurement blind zone (area D shown in the figure).
3、 Characteristics
The radar level gauge adopts a transmission frequency of up to 26GHz, thus possessing non-contact radar, no wear and tear, and no pollution
The antenna size is small, making it easy to install.
Shorter wavelength, better reflection on tilted solid surfaces.
The measurement blind spot is smaller, and it can also achieve good results for measuring small cans.
The small beam angle and concentrated energy enhance the echo capability while also helping to avoid interference. Hardly affected by corrosion and foam. Almost unaffected by changes in water vapor, temperature, and pressure in the atmosphere.
Severe dust environment will not affect electromagnetic wave operation
High signal-to-noise ratio, even in fluctuating conditions, can achieve better performance.
High frequency is the * choice for measuring solids and low dielectric constant media.
